Physical Characteristics:
The coloring of the Northern Cricket Frog can be varied between specimens. They have a dark triangle shaped blotch between the eyes. Northern Cricket Frogs possess a blunt head with small warts on the skin. They can grow to 1-1.5 inches in length.
Preferred habitat:
Shallow permanent pools or streams with plants for shelter
