Physical Characteristics:
Northern Dusky Salamanders have tails that are slightly shorter than the rest of the body. They have tan to brown to grey coloring with faint yellow spots on their back. Northern Dusky Salamanders can grow to be 2.5-5.5 inches in length.

Small sources of flowing water and under debris
