Physical Characteristics:
Jefferson Salamanders have dark brown or grey coloring. They look similar to the Blue Spotted Salamander, but are slightly more grey in coloring and have much lighter spots. They can grow to be 4-8 inches in length.

Vernal pools and upland deciduous forests
